Exclusive: Henry Thomas Guest-Stars on The Mentalist

Former kid sensation Henry Thomas (E.T.) has been set to appear on CBS's The Mentalist as bounty hunter Tommy Lisbon, the brother of Robin Tunney's character, CBI senior agent Teresa Lisbon. The sibs will meet up in an episode airing in late October on a case concerning the death of a police officer.
"Everyone else in the Lisbon family is a policeman or fireman so Tommy is considered a bit of a black sheep," says creator Bruno Heller. "We'll see that he's the kind of ne'er-do-well who will bring his 12-year-old daughter on a bounty-hunting expedition." And that, needless to say, will not go over well with Sis.
This isn't the first time Thomas and Tunney have collided on screen. The two played shoplifters in love in the twisted road trip movie Niagara, Niagara, which won Tunney the Best Actress award at the 1997 Venice International Film Festival.
Thomas was seen last year in the Amanda Seyfried-Channing Tatum romance Dear John and co-stars with Josh Lucas and Kate Bosworth in the upcoming Jack Kerouac biopic Big Sur.
