Hayden Panettiere's Father Pleads No Contest in Battery Case

Heroes star Hayden Panettiere's father pleaded no contest Thursday to a charge of misdemeanor battery involving his wife.
Alan Panettiere was sentenced to two years' probation and ordered to pay $400 for a domestic violence fund, according to court documents obtained by TVGuide.com. In addition, the court fined him $100 in restitution and mandated that he complete a yearlong domestic violence treatment program, including counseling sessions.
A call to Panettiere's lawyer was not immediately returned.
