Exclusive: Hawaii Five-0 Books William Baldwin for Recurring Role

William Baldwin

Hawaii Five-0's recurring guest cast keeps growing: The sophomore CBS drama has booked William Baldwin for a multi-episode arc, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

Hawaii Five-0: Laura German joins the team, Larisa Oleynik returns

Baldwin, whose character hasn't been named yet, will play a former homicide detective who was kicked off the force for corruption. Since then, he's organized a crime wave with a team of fellow dirty cops.

As we previously reported, the character is a sleazy manipulator who may set his sights on Kono (Grace Park). But Baldwin will also butt heads with his ex-partner, played by guest star Tom Sizemore. Now as head of Internal Affairs, Sizemore's character will stop at nothing to put his former partner behind bars.

In addition to Sizemore, Baldwin joins the previously announced guest cast that includes Terry O'Quinn as a Navy Seal commander who trained Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin), Richard T. Jones as the new governor, and Lauren German as a homeland security officer who joins the Five-0 unit.

Baldwin, known for his big-screen roles in Backdraft and Flatliners, starred as Patrick Darling on ABC's short-lived Dirty Sexy Money. His most recent small-screen credits include recurring roles on Gossip Girl and Parenthood.

Hawaii Five-0 returns Monday, Sept. 19 at 10/9c. Baldwin will first appear in the new season's third episode.
