How I Met Your Mother's Ted (Josh Radnor) will be getting a blast from his collegiate past in an upcoming episode of the CBS sitcom.
Actor Peter Gallagher (Covert Affairs, The O.C.) will guest star as the cocky and aloof Professor Vinick who taught Ted architecture during his time at Wesleyan University.
From what I hear, back in the day Ted was hell-bent on impressing Prof. Vinick but was never able to win his approval no matter how hard he tried. And in the episode, tentatively scheduled to air December 17, we'll see that the frustrating dynamic continues to this day. Poor Ted.
