HBO has ordered a new relationship comedy from Jay and Mark Duplass starring Amanda Peet, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Togetherness follows two couples living under the same roof while struggling to keep their relationships alive and also pursuing their individual dreams. Mark Duplass (The Mindy Project) stars as Brett Pierson, a guy who seems to have it all, but is secretly having problems both personally and professionally. Two and a Half Men's Melanie Lynskey plays his wife Michelle.

Peet co-stars as Tina, Michelle's outgoing sister, who moves from Houston to Los Angeles to be closer to the family. Steve Zissis plays struggling actor Alex, who has just been left homeless with only one friend in the world.
Jay and Mark Duplass will write, executive-produce and direct while Zissis will write and act as a consulting producer. Stephanie Langhoff is co-executive producer on the project, which begins production in early 2014.
