HBO Comedies Bored to Death, Eastbound & Down return Sept. 26

The second seasons of Bored to Death and Eastbound & Down will premiere Sept. 26, HBO announced Tuesday.
The noir comedy Bored to Death stars Jason Schwartzman as a struggling Brooklyn writer who pretends to be a P.I. Zach Galifianakis and Ted Danson also star.
Bored to Death picked up for second season
When viewers last saw has-been major leaguer Kenny Powers (played by Danny McBride) on Eastbound & Down, he abandoned recently won-over girlfriend April at a gas station, too embarrassed to tell her that his big comeback deal with the Tampa Bay Rays had fallen apart.
The upcoming season will find Kenny hiding from his problems in Mexico, where he joins a local baseball team. Michael Pena and Ana de la Reguera have joined the cast as regulars.
