Gwyneth Paltrow "Supporting" Madonna Through Split

As her pal Madonna nears a divorce with Guy Ritchie, Gwyneth Paltrow is doing her best to help the singer through her very public split.
"She's a dear friend, and I'm supporting her in all the ways that I can," part-time London dweller Paltrow told Us Weekly at the premiere of her new flick Two Lovers. "I'm just here for her. I'm just here on the other end of the phone, really. I speak to her a lot."
Madonna and Ritchie announced their split last Wednesday, ending seven and a half years of marriage.
On Monday, the Material Girl's rep denied reports that the two had reached a settlement regarding their fortune, property and custody of their children, Lourdes, 12, Madonna's daughter with Carlos Leon, Rocco, 8, and David, 3.
