Over the last eight seasons, the writers of Grey's Anatomy have put the doctors of Seattle Grace through the ringer. George was hit by a bus, Izzie was stricken with cancer, and even Meredith died (for a while). The hospital flooded, a man gunned several of their co-workers down, but the doctors are still chugging along.
