The clock is ticking as a contestant attempts to escape from the USS Hornet aircraft carrier by rappelling over the side, in this brand new photo from TNT's upcoming reality series The Great Escape.
The Great Escape, which comes from the producers of CBS hit The Amazing Race, follows teams as they compete in challenges similar to scenes from action/adventure movies. Rich Eisen hosts the show, which premieres Sunday, June 24 at 10/9c, after a new episode of Falling Skies.
Ron Howard Teams with The Amazing Race Producers for TNT Reality Show
Besides the USS Hornet, the show has also shot challenges at Alcatraz and Preston Castle (an abandoned building in Ione, Cal.). The Amazing Race producers Bertram van Munster and Elise Doganieri are also behind The Great Escape, along with Imagine TV and creators Justin Hochberg and Charlie Ebersol.
