Could GCB's Miriam Shor Be Kristin Chenoweth's Good Wife Replacement?

Miriam Shor

The Good Wife is staying in business with GCB.

Miriam Shor, who co-starred alongside Kristin Chenoweth on ABC's short-lived comedy GCB, has landed a recurring role on the CBS drama, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

As first reported by TVLine.com, Shor will play a reporter with a background in national news who is stuck covering the local fare. A source close to the CBS series insist that Shor isn't replacing Chenoweth, who exited the CBS drama in order to recover from her recent on-set injury.

Chenoweth — whose credits include Pushing Daisies and Glee — was recently cast as a top political journalist who wants the inside scoop on Peter Florrick's campaign for governor, as well as his and Alicia's marriage. She'll still appear in the season premiere and the producers hope to have her back once she heals.

The Good Wife returns Sunday, Sept. 30 at 9/8c on CBS.
