Glee's writing staff is tripling in size just in time for Season 3, Deadline reports.

The six writers joining the team are Allison Adler, Marti Noxon, Michael Hitchcock, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Matt Hodgson and Ross Maxwell. They, along with Glee executive producers Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, will begin crafting the show's third season on Monday.

Glee had originally intended to gradually bring new writers into the mix throughout Season 2. However, Murphy, Falchuk and Brennan ended up writing all 22 episodes.

The new additions behind the scenes arrive just as Glee is looking to add new faces on-screen as well. The show recently posted casting calls for two new female roles, including one described as a cross between Susan Boyle and Adele.
