"The hardest word to say is 'goodbye.'"
A simple phrase for Glee's new poster, but it speaks volumes about what's to come. Co-creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy tweeted out the new image, which features a black-and-white photo of Glee's late star Cory Monteith, on Thursday. The art promotes the third episode of the season, airing Oct. 10 at 9/8c, which will be a tribute to Monteith, who died from a toxic mixture of heroin and alcohol on July 13.

The fifth season kicks off with two "celebratory" Beatles-themed episodes, which were reworked following Monteith's death. The third episode will then pay homage to Monteith, and in turn his character Finn Hudson, who will also die.
Are you ready to say goodbye? Glee returns Thursday at 9/8c on Fox.
