The 31-year-old actress will guest-star in the NBC pilot Love Bites, TVGuide.com has confirmed. Hewitt — best known for her lead role in Ghost Whisperer — will play herself while having an in-flight rendezvous with one of the main cast members.
Love follows three loosely connected romantic story lines, with Jordana Spiro (My Boys) and Becki Newton (Ugly Betty) in the lead roles of the central plot.

Greg Grunberg (Heroes), Lindsay Price (Lipstick Jungle), Jason Lewis (Sex and the City) and Craig Robinson (The Office) will also guest-star in the pilot.
