Gavin DeGraw Hospitalized After Assault

Gavin DeGraw has been hospitalized after getting assaulted in New York City, People reports.
He suffered a broken nose and cuts to his face early Monday morning and was in stable condition at Bellevue Hospital, police said. According to the New York Post, DeGraw was out with friends when he was attacked by a group of men and was hit by a taxi as he stumbled away around 4:30 a.m.

DeGraw's rep said that the 34-year-old singer is under observation but had no additional information.
DeGraw, whose new album, Sweeter, is due out in September, has been touring with Maroon 5 and Train. He has canceled his Tuesday concert in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
