Gavin DeGraw has been discharged from the hospital, but says he does not remember much from his attack.
"Hi my friends. Honestly, I don't remember much. I only know I can recover from here," he tweeted Tuesday. "Thank u all for your genuine concern. I love u guys."
Gavin DeGraw hospitalized after assault
The singer suffered a broken nose, a concussion and facial lacerations and was hit by a taxi after getting assaulted by a group of men early Monday morning in New York. Police are investigating the incident and believe DeGraw's memory could have been affected by his injuries and possibly being intoxicated at the time, a source tells People.
DeGraw had been on tour, but has canceled his upcoming shows this week, including an appearance on Live with Regis and Kelly on Wednesday.
