Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon — best known for her role in NYPD Blue — has filed for divorce from her husband of nearly nine years, E! Online reports
Beauvais, who also starred in The Jamie Foxx Show, cited irreconcilable differences with husband Mike Nilon, who allegedly cheated on her, according to E! She is also seeking joint custody of their 2-year-old twin sons, Jax and Jaid.

The 43-year-old actress previously was married to Daniel Saunders, with whom she had a son in 1991.
Reps for the actress did not immediately respond to TVGuide.com's request for comment.
