The Game

Looks like BET has a hit on its hands. Tuesday's fourth season premiere of The Game brought in 7.7 million viewers, the network told TVGuide.com.

The big number is a win for both BET and the show, which is getting a second chance at life on the cable network. The CW canceled the half-hour comedy about football players and the women who love them after three seasons in 2008.  Tuesday night's debut marked BET's biggest original series telecast.

On The CW, The Game only averaged about 2 million viewers in its first three seasons. 

Following the premiere, new series Let's Stay Together, produced by Queen Latifah, drew a robust 4.4 million viewers.

MTV also had a strong outing Tuesday with the premiere of Teen Mom 2, which delivered 3.6 million viewers — the franchise's best season debut yet among network's core 12-34-year-old viewers. The series is a follow-up to four of the girls featured on the latest season of 16 and Pregnant.

Over on FX, the premiere of boxing drama Lights Out drew a lukewarm 1.5 million viewers.
