Modern Family, Glee Snag GLAAD Media Awards Nominations

The New Normal and Go On joined old favorites like Modern Family and Glee in receiving nominations for GLAAD's annual Media Awards, which honor television shows, movies, music, news and other forms of entertainment for positively representing the LGBT community.
The other television nominees included Happy Endings, True Blood, Grey's Anatomy, American Horror Story: Asylum, The Amazing Race, Days of Our Lives and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

Film nominees include The Perks of Being a Wallflower, ParaNorman, Cloud Atlas and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. Adam Lambert and Frank Ocean were among the musicians honored.
The 24th GLAAD Media Awards will be held March 16 in New York, April 20 in Los Angeles, and May 11 in San Francisco. See the full list of nominees here.
