It may soon be gone, but Fringe will never be forgotten. Especially now that Warner Bros., Fox and Insight Editions have teamed up for September's Notebook — The Bishop Paradox, a comprehensive slice of magnificence that serves as both a full-blown celebration of the past five seasons and a key plot point within the show itself.
In Friday's episode (9/8c, Fox), Michael Cerveris' Observer, September, tells Walter (John Noble) that he's keeping a journal of everything he's seen. The Pattern. The Machine. Massive Dynamics. And of course, all of the action over in the alternate world. Those key elements of Fringe, as well as character studies, exclusive photos, concept art and the show's secret codes and glyphs are all packed into September's Notebook, authored by Tara Bennett and Paul Terry (who penned the Lost Encyclopedia), with collaborative input from showrunner Joel Wyman and former executive producer Jeff Pinkner.
Below is an exclusive first look at a spread from the coffee-table tome, featuring September's dossier on (B)Olivia (Anna Torv) that delves into her Olympic achievements, family ties and vortex heroics. Being mostly emotionless, he does not discuss her unfortunate Show Me Card photo.
September's Notebook — The Bishop Paradox is set to be released on March 12, so get off your amber and go pre-order it at fringeseptembersnotebook.com, amazon.com or barnesandnoble.com. And tell us how you want to see Fringe end in the comments below!
