Go On to Host Friends Reunion

Sometimes you just need a little help from your Friends.
After struggling in recent weeks without its sizable Voice lead-in, Go On has tapped Courteney Cox to guest-star opposite her former TV husband, Matthew Perry, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Cox, 48, will appear in an April episode of the freshman comedy as a character who meets Anne (Julie White), who then tries to set her up with Ryan (Perry). Although this marks the first time the duo will share the screen since Friends ended in 2004, the close-knit ensemble has popped up on each other's subsequent projects.

Lisa Kudrow and Jennifer Aniston both guest-starred on Cox's comedy Cougar Town, and David Schwimmer appeared on Kudrow's Showtime comedy Web Therapy. Schwimmer also directed two episodes of Matt LeBlanc's Friends spinoff, Joey.
Longtime Friends executive producer Scott Silveri also created Go On.
Go On airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on NBC. Cox's Cougar Town airs Tuesdays at 10/9c on TBS.
