Francesca Eastwood Named Miss Golden Globe

Francesca Eastwood

Francesca Eastwood, the daughter of legendary actor and director Clint Eastwood and actress Frances Fisher, has been named Miss Golden Globe for the 70th Golden Globe Awards, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced Thursday.

The 19-year-old actress, who currently stars on E!'s Mrs. Eastwood and Company, follows in the footsteps of Melanie Griffith, Laura Dern and Rumer Willis, who have all previously handed out trophies at the annual ceremony. The honor is traditionally given to the daughter or son of an established actor.

When will the 2013 Golden Globe Awards air?

"I am honored to have been chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press to be Miss Golden Globe of 2013," said Eastwood. "I have watched the Golden Globes ceremonies since I was a little girl, and it means so much to me to be a part of one of Hollywood's most illustrious events."

The 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards will  broadcast live on Sunday, Jan. 13 on NBC.
