Pilot Season: Fox Orders Navy Drama from Justified Creator

Graham Yost

Fox has given pilot orders to dramas Wild Blue, from Justified creator Graham Yost, and the San Francisco-based Gang Related, TVGuide.com has learned.

ER, The West Wing and Top Gun collide in Wild Blue, an ensemble about the working men and women on board a U.S. Aircraft Carrier. Equipped with a 500-foot landing strip, a nuclear reactor and 6,000 crew members, the drama is an upstairs/downstairs look at pressure-cooker lives of the U.S. Navy. Taylor Elmore will write and co-executive-produce with Melissa Bernstein. Yost, Mark Johnson and Michael Dinner will executive-produce.
