Fox has ordered comedy pilots from Modern Family's Steve Levitan, Happy Endings' Jamie Tarses and Rescue Me's Peter Tolan.
Reboundling, executive-produced by Levitan, is an uplifting comedy about a man recovering from the death of his fiancée with the help of the idiots on his pick-up basketball team. The pilot is based on real-life events in Joe Port's life. Port will write and executive-produce alongside Joe Wiseman. Jason Winer is slated to direct.
Tarses' Must Hire centers on an uptight, young executive who hires his dad for an entry-level position and is shocked to learn his father is the disruptive office clown. Reed Agnew and Eli Jorne will write the pilot and executive-produce alongside Tarses.
Pilot Season: Fox picks up OB/GYN comedy starring Mindy Kaling
Tolan's Let it Go is an ensemble comedy about a married couple and their friends, who are trying to navigate and manipulate society's unspoken rules. D.J. Nash will write and executive-produce alongside Tolan and Michael Wimer.
Both Must Hire and Let it Go's pickups are contingent on who gets cast.
