Fox Orders Sleepy Hollow Pilot From Fringe Creators

Fringe co-creators Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Ocri are developing a pilot for Fox based on The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Entertainment Weekly reports.
The pilot will be a "modern-day supernatural thriller" based on the 19th century short story by Washington Irving, according to EW.
The popular Headless Horseman mystery was adapted for the big screen in 1999, with Tim Burton directing and Johnny Depp starring as troubled schoolmaster Ichabod Crane.
No scheduling or casting details for the proposed television series have been released at this time.
