Fox's Mob Doctor Snags Fringe, Oz Alums for Recurring Gigs

Fox's new drama The Mob Doctor is filling out its cast.

Fringe alum Kevin Corrigan and Oz's Terry Kinney have joined the cast in recurring roles, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

In The Mob Doctor, Jordana Spiro stars as a young female thoracic surgeon with roots in Bridgeport, Conn., where she juggles her career and her lifelong debt to the South Chicago mob, headed up by William Forsythe's Constantine.

Kinney will play Salvatore Amato, an acquaintance of Constantine, as first reported by The Hollywood Reporter. Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly first broke that Corrigan will play his brother, Titus Amato, a clean-cut member of a South Chicago crime family.

The series, created by Drop Dead Diva's Josh Berman, will premiere Monday, Sept. 17 at 9/8c on Fox.
