Pilot Season: Last Resort's Andre Braugher Joins Fox's Schur/Goor Comedy

Andre Braugher won't be away from TV for too long: The Last Resort star has landed a co-starring role in an untitled Fox pilot from Parks and Recreation's Mike Schur and Dan Goor, TVGuide.com has learned.
In the comedy, a group of detectives — including Saturday Night Live alum Andy Samberg, Terry Crews, Stephanie Beatriz and Melissa Fumero — form an odd family in their precinct in the outermost neighborhood of New York City.

Braugher, whose recent credits include Law & Order: SVU and Men of a Certain Age, will play Captain Holt, who, after 30 years on the force, has finally gotten his own command and won't let anyone, least of all Jake (Samberg), screw it up.
The Parks bosses will write and executive-produce with David Miner, while Samberg will also produce.
