Fresh off the news that Kiefer Sutherland's drama Touch has been canceled, Deadline.com reports that Fox is considering resurrecting 24.
The network reportedly wants to bring back the real-time series for a limited run that would see Sutherland reprise his Emmy-winning role as Jack Bauer. Homeland co-creator and executive producer Howard Gordon, who served as 24's showrunner towards the end of its eight-season run, would oversee the limited series run.

A 24 movie has been in the works since the thriller series went off the air in May 2010, but the film version never materialized. In March, director Antoine Fuqua said the long-awaited movie adaptation is "not happening." Sutherland's salary negotiations were reportedly the final nail in the coffin.
