VIDEO: Footloose Remake Trailer Dances Its Way Online

Oh look, just what pop culture needed: another remake of an '80s movie. At least the forthcoming Footloose is set in modern day. The plot, as outlined by this trailer, seems similar enough (oppressive small town attempts to ban dancing, but can't keep the twinkle-toed teens down for long!) to Herbert Ross' 1984 original.
Directed by Craig Brewer (Hustle & Flow, Black Snake Moan) and starring Dennis Quaid, Andie MacDowell, Julianne Hough and newcomer Kenny Wormald in the role originally played by Kevin Bacon, the Footloose remake is due out in October.
