That's a good summary for BBC America's four-part series Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond, which premieres Wednesday at 10/9c. The miniseries tells the story of Ian Fleming, the author whose real-life adventures in the British Naval Intelligence inspired the creation of one of the most iconic characters in modern literature: James Bond.
