Pixar is moving forward with a Finding Nemo sequel, Ellen DeGeneres happily announced Tuesday.
"Here's the good news: They say I'm one of the five top contenders to play the part of Dory," the host joked on her show. "No, I will be Dory again, which is the most fun in the world. Actually the entire sequel is about Dory. The name of the movie is Finding Dory."

"There is no Dory without Ellen," Disney/Pixar's Andrew Stanton said in a statement. "She won the hearts of moviegoers all over the world — not to mention our team here at Pixar. One thing we couldn't stop thinking about was why she was all alone in the ocean on the day she met Marlin. In Finding Dory, she will be reunited with her loved ones, learning a few things about the meaning of family along the way."
"I'm excited that it's finally happening," DeGeneres added. "I read the script and it's fantastic, it's hilarious, it's warm, it's everything that you want it to be. But the thing about those movies — they're brilliant and they take a long time to make. So, it won't be in theaters until 2015. But in Australia, I think that's tomorrow."
DeGeneres has long been campaigning for a Finding Nemo sequel on her show over the years. Watch a compilation of her requests along with her Finding Dory announcement below.
Finding Dory will hit theaters Nov. 25, 2015. Are you excited?
