Family Guy is making the move to live action with a new variety special set for November.

The tentatively titled Family Guy Presents: Seth & Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show will air Sunday, Nov. 8 at 8:30/7:30c and feature the show's creator Seth MacFarlane and co-star Alex Borstein. MacFarlane and Borstein voice Peter and Lois Griffin, respectively.

The duo will perform some of the Fox comedy's most popular musical numbers and comedy sketches throughout the half-hour special. Family Guy Presents will also feature new animation sequences and celebrity guest appearances.

The variety show will air commercial-free, but with integrated product promotion for Microsoft's new Windows 7 operating system, which is slated for release later this month. Both MacFarlane and Borstein helped create and produce the Microsoft spots that will air during the special.

MacFarlane will also play host for the rest of that night's Sunday lineup, including American Dad (at 7:30/6:30c), a double dose of Family Guy at 8/7c and 9/8c and The Cleveland Show at 9:30/8:30c.
