NUMB3RS and Rescue Me alum Diane Farr has landed a multi-episode arc on the final season of Private Practice, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.
Private Practice Exclusive: Audra McDonald returning for series finale
Farr will first appear in the Sheldon-centric Dec. 11 episode as Miranda, though details on her role are being kept under wraps. Considering she'll also appear in the series finale, we're guessing (and hoping) this means she'll form a bond with the unlucky-in-love psychiatrist.
Farr, who has previously worked for Private creator Shonda Rhimes on Grey's Anatomy, most recently had roles on Desperate Housewives and White Collar.
