Following in the footsteps of fellow CBS show Hawaii Five-0, Let's Make a Deal is turning things over to the fans. The game show will let viewers vote on Twitter to choose elements of an upcoming episode, including determining the prizes and deciding on the "Big Deal of the Day."

Voting will take place during a taping on Friday, Jan. 25 (fans can follow along on the show's Twitter feed  or website beginning at 4 p.m. ET), and the votes will be tallied right away and incorporated into the episode as it's filmed. The episode will air Wednesday, Jan. 30 on CBS.

"We are very Twitter friendly at Let's Make a Deal," executive producer Mike Richards said in a statement. "We are really excited about incorporating this new voting element into the show, and hope our loyal viewers, as well as some new ones, will have as much fun with this as we are."

Host Wayne Brady calls the initiative a "win win." "I'm excited about this landmark show because we're doing things no other game show is doing," he said.
