Exclusive: Diahann Carroll Collars Role on USA Pilot

Diahann Carroll has been added to the cast of White Collar, the USA Network pilot starring Tim DeKay and Matthew Bomer, TVGuide.com has learned. DeKay (Carnivale) plays an FBI agent, and Bomer (Traveler) is a top-shelf con man recruited by the feds to help bust similarly crafty criminals.
Carroll will play June, a classy widow whom Bomer's character charms into becoming his landlord.
Nominated for an Emmy four times over her long career, Carroll took home a Golden Globe in 1969, for playing the title role in the TV drama Julia. Most recently on the smaller screen, she guest-starred on Grey's Anatomy as Preston Burke's domineering mother.
Also on board for USA's "character"-driven White Collar is Tiffani Thiessen (Saved by the Bell), as DeKay's accountant wife who can cook my books anytime!
