Exclusive: CMT Checks Into the Swanderosa

CMT is getting into the event business. The country-fried cable network has ordered eight episodes of Swanderosa, a docu-series about a family that runs a wedding and event planning business in San Antonio.
The show will follow the exploits of the Swan family, who run their business at an 18-acre estate they've dubbed the "Swanderosa." Daughter Ashley runs the business, with her dad as a technical expert, her mom as the florist and her younger sister as the handy person. 44 Blue (Lockup, Deadliest Warrior) is producing.
CMT has been busy developing and airing a number of reality shows. The network's other unscripted entries include the Nigel Lythgoe-produced singer/songwriter competition CMT's Next Superstar; the karaoke contest The Singing Bee; and the self-explanatory My Big Redneck Wedding. CMT's upcoming series include the matchmaking show Sweet Home Alabama.
