Entourage: Kevin Connolly to Direct Series' Penultimate Episode

Entourage star Kevin Connolly will step behind the camera to direct the HBO series' penultimate episode, the network confirms.
The 37-year-old actor, who plays Vince's best friend and manager, Eric, will direct the seventh episode of Entourage's eighth and final season. The episode is set to air on Sunday, Sept. 4 followed by the series finale on Sept. 11.

This is Connolly's second time pulling double duty on the Hollywood comedy. He directed the second-to-last episode of Season 7, "Porn Scenes from an Italian Restaurant." He also directed the 2007 film Gardener of Eden and six episodes of the WB sitcom Unhappily Ever After, which he co-starred on from 1995 to 1999.
Entourage returns on Sunday, July 24 at 10:30/9:30c.
