Elizabeth Berkley and husband Greg Lauren welcomed her first child Friday, People reports.
Son Sky Cole was born in Los Angeles and weighed 8 pounds. "The moment we both saw him it was love at first sight," the couple told the magazine. "We are over the moon and grateful to start this amazing adventure together as a family."

This is the first child for both mom and dad, who is an artist and designer. They wed in 2003.
Following her star-making turn on Saved By the Bell, Berkley also starred in Showgirls and recurred on The L Word and CSI: Miami in recent years.
