ER's Parminder Nagra will have to check into the maternity ward soon.
The TV doc is expecting her first child with longtime boyfriend, photographer James Stenson, Us Weekly reports.
"We are thrilled and overjoyed at the prospect of becoming first-time parents," Nagra said.
The actress is due in the summer — well past ER's planned February series finale, but there are "no plans to write the pregnancy in the show." When the medical drama does wrap for good, don't expect Nagra to take an extended maternity leave.
"I feel like I will want to work, but who knows what I'll feel like when the baby arrives," she said.
The British-born star adds that the couple will tie the knot — in due time. "Yes, our plans are to get married but there's no confirmed date yet," Nagra said. "We have been together for nearly seven years."
