Dylan McDermott Finalizes Divorce

Dylan McDermott and wife Shiva Rose have finalized their divorce, ending 13 years of marriage, People reports.
Per court papers, the divorce will be official Jan. 2 after the legally required six-month waiting period in California.
The actor filed for divorce in May, citing the usual "irreconcilable differences." The couple has two daughters, Colette, 12, and Charlotte, 3. Though the court papers do not detail the custody arrangements, McDermott had originally requested joint custody.
The papers do show that McDermott, best known as legal eagle Bobby Donnell on The Practice, acted as his own lawyer in the proceedings.
