Dr. Phil Re-upped Through 2014

Dr. Phil McGraw

Dr. Phil will keep making house calls through the 2013-14 TV season.

His syndicated talk show, now in its eighth season, has been renewed through its 12th season. It will be seen in 70 percent of the country, including 20 of the top 25 markets, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Since it began in September 2002, Phil McGraw's program has been rated No. 2 in daytime talk, only behind the show that got him started, The Oprah Winfrey Show. His appearances on her program in the late '90s were so well-received that they led to his own show.

McGraw, 59, recently has been slapped with two recent lawsuits — both filed by women who participated on his show, claiming inappropriate behavior on his part. The allegations include false imprisonment, practicing without a license, indecent exposure, battery and fraud.

McGraw's reps have denied the allegations.
