Domino's Pulls Ads From Jersey Shore

Jersey Shore

Domino's Pizza has pulled its advertising from MTV's Jersey Shore after reviewing the new reality show's content, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

The pizza conglomerate did not buy ads to run specifically during Jersey Shore, but rather had a standing rotation of spots to be played on the music cable channel.

"One of the ads happened to show up and once we saw what the program was, we decided that the content wasn't in keeping with what we're all about," Tim McIntyre, the company's vice president of communications, told TVGuide.com.

Jersey is about eight Italian-American 20-somethings living together in a house in Seaside Heights, N.J., for the summer. It premiered Thursday to 1.3 million viewers.
