Disney Channel Heads to the A.N.T. Farm

The Disney Channel has ordered a live-action comedy series titled A.N.T. Farm, the network announced Thursday.
The series stars newcomer China McClain as Chyna Sparks, a middle school music prodigy who gets into a special high school program.

Written by Dan Signer (The Suite Life on Deck), A.N.T. Farm also stars Sierra McCormick (Ramona and Beezus), Jake Short (Dexter), Stefanie Scott (Flipped) and Zach Steel.
The series will begin production in early 2011.
