"She's just a different person," Lohan said during an interview on Monday's Today. "She's been in a couple facilities, but this one to me has really changed her."

Lindsay was ordered to stay at the clinic until Jan. 3 after failing a court-ordered drug test in September and admitting she has an addiction problem via twitter.

"This teaches you that you are (an addict)," Lohan said of the program. "Being so young, the admitting of that, can only help her sobriety in the future."

Lohan also added that her daughter wants to get back into film, but she will be taking things "one day at a time."

"I don't have a crystal ball," Lohan said. "I pray hard. She wants to start her own (rehab) facilities, help other children. She's so public that I think we can only be positive and look to the future to help other families."

The 24-year-old actress is due back in court Feb. 25 and is subject to random drug testing in between her release from rehab and the court date.
