Did Twilight Director Confirm Stewart and Pattinson's Relationship?

Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke may have just outed stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson as a couple, according to Time.
Hardwicke recently blabbed to the magazine that she knew the pair would become close playing the vampire-human couple. "After I cast him, I told Rob, 'Don't even think about having a romance with her. She's under 18. You will be arrested,'" Hardwicke said.

The director said the actors didn't cross any lines during the filming of Twilight, according to what Stewart told Hardwicke directly. But Hardwicke did hint that there is something between the pair now. "I think it took a long time for Kristen to realize, OK, I've got to give this a go and really try to be with this person," she said.
