Eva Longoria first tweeted about Robert's upcoming guest spot Wednesday, when she posted a picture of her and on-screen husband Ricardo Antonio Chavira with Roberts on set. It is unknown who Roberts will play.
A five-time Emmy winner, Roberts has more recently guest-starred on Hot in Cleveland, The Middle and Grey's Anatomy. She will next star in the ABC comedy pilot Counter Culture, about three aging sisters who run a diner together in West Texas.
Desperate Housewives airs Sundays at 9/8c on ABC.
