Dennis Quaid filed for divorce from Kimberly Buffington-Quaid on Friday in Los Angeles.
In March, Buffington-Quaid originally filed for divorce, but retracted the papers a month later to work on their marriage. In October, after eight years together, the couple legally separated.

According to People, Quaid has requested joint custody of their 4-year-old twins, Thomas and Zoe. The Vegas star has also offered to pay spousal support.
This is Quaid's third divorce. He was previously married to Meg Ryan and P.J. Soles.
