In a new video, Demi Lovato, the star of the Disney Channel's Sonny with a Chance, has thanked fans for their support during her time in a treatment facility.

On Nov. 1, Lovato canceled her worldwide tour to seek medical treatment for what her rep said were "issues she battled throughout her life." The 18-year-old actress, who says she's excited to back to work, left the center after completing her prescribed treatment at the end of January.

"I wanted to let you know that I am back and home," she says in the video. "But I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for the support you guys have given me along the way."

Demi Lovato thanks fans for support during "difficult time"

"The journey that I've been on has been very, very difficult over the past few months... I can't tell you how much light you guys brought into my life in probably the darkest time in my life. Without you guys, I wouldn't be here today."
