Deadliest Catch Returns with New Boats and Crews

It's been a tough year for Deadliest Catch. The mourning continued for beloved Capt. Phil Harris, who passed away last winter. Then in February, Time Bandit crew member Justin Tennison was found dead in a motel room.
But the fishing goes on. In Season 7, there are two new boats alongside the five returning to the frigid Bering Sea: the Seabrooke and the Ramblin' Rose — aka the floating frat house. "We are pretty rowdy," confirms Rose deckhand and designated hunk James Creel. The former college football player, 24, made his way up to Alaska hoping his one year of fishing experience would land him a gig. "I beat the docks for five days and I finally got a job with the last boat still there," he says.
The admitted adrenaline junkie says he wanted "to test myself" at what could well be the world's most dangerous trade. So how'd he fare? "It's the hardest job I've ever done. My scariest moment was when a big wave crashed over me, leaving me holding on for dear life. Captain Elliott [Neese] drives us really hard," he says. "We also party hard and get into scuffles. I think people will enjoy these new younger crews — along with the big weather, good fishing and lots of bickering." Ahoy!
