Deadliest Catch star Jake Harris has been charged with reckless driving , TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Harris, 24, was charged Tuesday in King County, Wash. with reckless driving and driving with a suspended license. The charges, both misdemeanors, stem from Harris' Feb. 18 arrest, when he was booked on suspicion of a DUI and a hit-and-run. Harris was not charged with a DUI or a hit-and-run due to insufficient evidence, according to Dan Donohoe, a spokesman for the King County Prosecutor's Office.

Harris was arrested nine days after the death of his father, Captain Phil Harris, who also starred on the Discovery series. The elder Harris died at the age of 53 after suffering a stroke.

If convicted of both misdemeanors, Harris could face up to one year and three months in jail. His arraignment is scheduled for March 26.

Harris' attorney could not be reached for comment.
