Daytime Emmys to Proceed Despite Apparent Murder-Suicide

The Daytime Emmys are scheduled to be held as planned at the Beverly Hilton Saturday despite an apparent murder-suicide that took place at the hotel Friday.
Police responded to reports of a shooting on Friday and discovered a man and a woman dead at the scene in what investigators are calling a murder-suicide, reports The Associated Press. Police have said only that the victims were "elderly." No other details surrounding the deaths, or if they were in any way connected to the awards ceremony, have been revealed.
